Stop smoking

It is not a new discovery or something that smoking is injurious to health. But, then too people do not realize the consequences that have to be faced or get addicted to smoking. Most people just start smoking by taking a puff just to give it a try. But, later on, they discover that they have gone addicted to it and cannot do anything about it.
As the nervous system and brain activities are quickened for a few minutes by the stimulation generated by a puff, one gets induces to smoking. Also, the blood pressure and heart beat rate amplifies. Body’s end points also do not get enough blood flow as it is reduced which becomes the cause of numbness to the areas such as fingers and toes. Taste, olfactory senses and hunger are diluted. Also, in many cases, dizziness is experienced by the smokers. Even if the smokers enjoy the short term effects, they should keep the long term effects in mind. No matter if the person quits smoking in the later years of his life, the risk of suffering from diseases which are life threatening still sustains and goes on increasing. Also, even if a person has smoked at least five years of his life, then too he is bound to have a devastating permanent effect on the hearts, lungs, eyes and throat. Besides, there is going to be a permanent effect on the urinary tract, sex organs, men’s sperm production, digestive organs, bones and joints etc. Also, lips and skin get the blow too. The nicotine which is a drug in it is very harmful. Mostly, people start smoking when they are young because of peer pressure or a longing to taste the puff. The blood at this young is hot which leads to the consequences being overlooked by this section of society. But, then if one has a determination to quit smoking, he could. It will require a lot of extravagant human qualities to take birth such as patience, control, dedication, willpower, relaxation etc. One has to go to the quit smoking programs and attend it regularly. Also, while on the verge of attending the programs, negative thoughts such as “I won’t be able to smoke for my whole life or I couldn’t live without smoking” are bound to come. Nevertheless, you should bite they bullet to subdue your temptation. And these temptations are only natural as it is a fact that two-third of our thoughts in the whole day are negative. Only things we should know are to control. Also, follow the program accurately. Many things will be there including diet which has to be maintained according to the program. Moreover, do not allow yourself to be over stresses while going through the program. Also, as far as possible, try to abnegate yourself from your friends who induce you into smoking. If possible, it will be better if you find a friend who is like you and wants to quit smoking. This will give both of you the support needed for each other.
So, if done a little bit of elbow grease, one can quit smoking and set an example for others.
