ABOUT LAPTOPS

Laptop Memory-laptop processor

Laptops are coming with all guns blazing for the destruction of desktop PCs and for the birth of a storm of laptop PCs. Really, they are defeating desktop computers in every aspect. Besides, who would not want a more stylish computer with state-of-the-art technology if it comes in almost the same price? That sounds really irresistible to me, like it sounds to others. However, we should not ignore the role of laptop memories and processors because of which laptops are making a mark these days.
Laptop processors play a significant part in computer systems or laptop computers. They are made use for the amplification of speed of the computer. Also, they are made use for the well-organized processing of the laptop computer. It is a CPU optimized for notebook or laptop computers. The central processing unit is required by all computer devices. One of the many significant characteristics differentiating laptop processors from other CPUs is low power consumption. This is a very important benefit as it really irritates the hell out of you when your laptop power comes to a halt in the middle of some important or exciting work. Laptop processors are on an all time high in the market. This had to happen as it is the medium though other parts such as I/O devices, memory, hard disk etc. get connected. However, in the case of memory, 100-pin SO-DIMMs are equipped with 2 notches, 144-pin SO-DIMMs is equipped with a single notch near the center, and 200-pin SO-DIMMs is equipped with 1 notch next to one side. 200-pin SO-DIMM is equipped with 2 variations for finding out the notch that is closely impossible to differentiate. DDR memory is confirmed when the notch is positioned more outboard. DDR2 is indicated if the notch is positioned towards the center of the board. These two kinds of memory are known to be non-interchangeable and therefore are equipped with somewhat different notch locations that curb cross installation. However, certainly the more memory in a notebook system the better, but there are other concerns regarding memory in notebooks. Notebooks are generally more restricted in the amount of memory that can be installed into a system. Sometimes access to that memory can also be a problem if you plan a future upgrade.
